At first I thought good news - then read the article.

Typical "arty farty" crap. There's more buzzwords in there than a Dorothy Dixer at question time. And a pretty clear indication that they want to go down the "design by committee" route - which is completely contrary to Bertone's history - where Nuccio was an incredibly gifted employer and had a real knack to identify talent. Then he gave his trust to the individual and let them loose to wow the clients on their own terms and to their own credit.

Imagine a Miura, a stratos, or a Countach - even an X1/9, conceived via a "design competition"??? Wow. Sounds like they are having trouble employing anyone competent enough to hold a pencil...

I give this hair brained idea 12 months. Tops.

Thanks for the read though Mick - I guess I live in hope that I'm very, very wrong.
After 23 years, even more in love than ever.

I must admit I didn't read it all, lost interest after the first few sentences. More of a publicists flyer rather than an analysis of the company future.
