I decided I needed a "Dolly" to move the car about so I picked up a few Bits of RHS, some wheels, fired up the Mig and viola!

There is probably a bit too much weight on the rear wheels but it all seems quite stable. It also ended up a lot higher than I thought but it is a great height for 90% of the work to be done.

Hi All,

I haven’t put anything up about the 2300 restoration for quite a while so I thought I'd better do so.

Work has progressed quite a bit slower than I would like but I am starting to see light at the end of a very long tunnel.
All the structural damage is now completely repaired and the rust has all been cut out and replaced with new metal. Most of the outer body panels are ready for a final touch up and some need a little more attention.

Here is a link to my restoration Facebook page which show the process for far.

The next step to finish aligning the newly repaired door frames into the door jam and send them off for the door skins to be made up and fitted....big scary job.
